A Surrey based financial services organisation has a brand new requirement for a Risk Manager. The main purpose of the role will be to provide oversight and take responsibility for the Risk Management. This will include working with the Finance Director to establish a full risk management infrastructure, appropriate to the operations of the company. Financial services experience, particularly experience within general insurance is essential along with a proven track record in Risk Management and promotion of good Risk Management Practices. All applicants must be fully qualified and degree educated. Candidates will be expected to understand, interpret and apply complex regulatory requirements to real business practices so strong FSA knowledge and regulations is non negotiable. There will be a very small element of travel (UK) in this role and a full driving licence is a must.
